Rules of communication, or a waterfall of kindness

It often happens that we, adults, talk about good deeds, teach children to communicate with each other correctly. At the same time, children are well introduced into the conversation, they seem to understand, follow the rules of behavior. But this is while they are under the attention of adults. They themselves often communicate by their own rules, without understanding each other. Because of these misunderstandings, grievances arise.
Last week, I decided to test an interesting game called Waterfall of Kindness.

Goal:
– development of communication skills among children at a positive level. Strengthen motivation to do good deeds.

The conversation was held: “Each person differs from the other not only in appearance, but also in what actions he performs. But we have something in common: we all communicate and can understand each other. Therefore, we will draw a waterfall. A waterfall is what we all have – mutual understanding. It can be different. As you see it, draw it like that. This is your waterfall. ”Each child drew his waterfall. For a whole week during the day the children received two tasks. When completing the assignment, they sealed a strip of “water” on a waterfall. At the end of the week who has more stripes, he became the winner.

Tasks
Monday

“Wish everyone a good day, everyone you see.”

“My good deed for today.”

Tuesday

“Give your classmates or someone you like a compliment.”

– Wish a good, successful day to the one you want.

Wednesday

– Write a written wish to your friend, girlfriend.

– What did I find for the New Year holiday? Who did you share with?

Thursday

– I learned a poem, a song.

– I helped my parents.

Friday. Summarizing.

– This week I did … (my actions for the week)

– I learned five good words that helped me in communication.

On Friday we had a conversation about what we managed to accomplish during the week? What difficulties were there? What did you like to do most? Awarded the three best candidates for victory. Interestingly, all 23 students joined the game. On the first day, everyone had their own waterfall. By the end of the week there were only 16 waterfalls. Of these, the most responsible were six. This observation helped me understand what everyone wants to do a good thing, but, faced with certain difficulties, someone throws the next day, someone stumbles halfway, someone skillfully adds from himself that there are more strips of paper with good deeds, and someone responsibly goes to the goal.

Therefore, I decided to extend our game, and to summarize at the end of the month. The guys got a new task: to draw their waterfall, where every day for a month they will add one strip (one task per day) if they completed it.

Tasks
My good deed today. Count how many times you said thanks today.
Smile at a friend. Make him three compliments.
Bring a note from mom, how can you help her today.
My good deed today.
Participation in the game “Wizards and the townspeople.”
Contact all colleagues by name.
My good deed today.
Goodwill Day. “I am the most friendly today, because …”
We meet each other joyfully when we enter the class.
Write the five qualities of a good person.
Who is your favorite hero and why?
My good deed today.
How can I help my family?
How can I help my class?
Write how many friends you have.
My good deed today.
Today they told me that I … (write about yourself all the best)
Be polite, attentive, respectful at school, at home today.
To whom and what have you lost today?
Tell the truth in your eyes, but tactfully.
My good deed today.
I’m good because …
You can change tasks every month, continuing to develop the game to get a 100% result. After all, everyone knows that water does not flow under a lying stone.

Playing such a game, children bring up benevolence, sensitivity, responsibility, tact. Is it that important? Of course, because this is how the ability to understand a person manifests itself.
