How to Make Air Fryer Pork Chops in the Ninja Foodi
Cris here.
Recently one of our Crock Partner Patreon Patrons (Hi James!) asked us to share a low carb friendly air fryer pork chop recipe. We have been testing all kinds of things and ultimately settled on something VERY simple, but VERY good! After trying a LOT of things that just were not quite up to my standards, I thought back to this oven recipe I did AGES ago and how I got tons of emails from readers telling me they FINALLY were able to make the perfect pork chop. So, I decided to use that idea in my air fryer and it consistently produced perfectly tender and flavorful chops EVERY TIME. I simply love it!
Air Fryer Pork Chops Recipe Notes
- We used regular thickness (not labeled thick or thin) bone-in chops for this recipe. If your chops are really thick or really thin, cooking time will be affected. Thicker chops will take longer. Thinner chops will take less time.
- We have used our Ninja Foodi (air crisp feature) and traditional air fryers to make this recipe. Both will work. Just make sure you cook in batches if you are wanting to cook more than two chops.
- Air fryers may cook differently. Always first test in your unit attended. Times may vary.

- As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish. The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
- All air fryers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own air fryer and time adjusted as needed.

I had one pork chop that was thicker than the other pork chop. I still used your recipe’s recommended temperature and time for the Ninja Foodi, and also added one reviewer’s suggestion to broil them on each side to add that brown crust affect to the chops. They were perfect in every way! My husband loves the look and taste of these; their almost like they’ve been grilled on an outdoor gas grill!

Recipe was great for the med. cut pork chops. However My chops were 1″ thick bone in. So this is what I did.
1. Used the air fry basket with rack.
2. Increased air fry cook time to 9 min. Air fry temp. remained the same at 360°.
3. After air fring 9 min. per side switched to Broil Mode for 2 min. per side. To brown perfectly.Reply
Tasha Gaddy says
I just did mine for the 9 min. as you described, due to their thickness, and they turned out perfect!!!

Hi Chris and Mikey!
I was wondering, could you add veggies and cook them with this? I was thinking maybe pressure cooking cut up potatoes and frozen green beans for about 6-7 minutes, then add the cooking rack over them and air crisping all the ingredients together for the cooking time of the pork chops. Does that sound like it would be good timing to you or would you alter it another way?
I have tried so many of your recipes over the years, and I love them. I especially love it when you show us a full all-in-one meal. Thanks for all you do!PS. I am a fellow Hoosier as well. 😉

Hello fellow Hoosier!
I can’t really say without testing first. If you give it a try, definitely let me know. We will try to do some all in one recipes soon.

These were soooo delicious. Cooking instructions worked perfectly. I didn’t have Lawry’s so used Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute. I also brined 4 hours first (with 1 cup of hot water with 3T kosher salt, 1tsp minced garlic, 1/4 tsp black pepper, and a bay leaf, mixed with 2 cups of cold water after salt dissolved)Reply
Cris says
So glad you enjoyed it as much as we do!
Patrick says
so how would i make both of these items in the air fryer without either dish getting cold?

Hi Patrick-
I am not sure which other dish you are referring to…
Kayla Vaught says
Hey could you use boneless pork chops
Reply
Cris says
Hi Kayla-
So sorry I missed your comment. You can use boneless chops, however, cooking times may vary depending on thickness of the chop. Enjoy!
